Terms of use

The basics
TableFerry is a free Chrome extension published by LampAndLeaf (contact lampandleaf@mail.grokbot.com). There is nothing to buy, no account and no subscription. Every feature is free.
Using it
- You may use TableFerry for personal or work purposes.
- Only copy data you are allowed to use. Some websites' own terms limit how their content may be reused. That's between you and the website.
- Don't use TableFerry to break the law or to get around a website's access controls. It only reads pages you can already see.
Check your numbers
TableFerry tidies numbers, dates and text so spreadsheets read them correctly, but web pages vary and no clean-up is perfect. Check anything important against the original page before you rely on it, for example for tax, accounts or legal purposes. The Google Sheets formula is best effort: it depends on the website letting Google read the page, and on the website's layout staying the same.
No warranty
TableFerry is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for any loss arising from its use, except where the law says we can't exclude liability (for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Changes and ending
We may update TableFerry or these terms. If we make a material change we will update this page. You can stop using it at any time by removing it from Chrome.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protections of your local consumer law.
